"Then Paul went to the synagogue and preached boldly for the next three months, arguing persuasively about the Kingdom of God. But some became stubborn, rejecting his message and publicly speaking against the Way. So, Paul left the synagogue and took the believers with him. Then he held daily discussions at the lecture hall of Tyrannus. This went on for the next two years, so that people throughout the province of Asia—both Jews and Greeks—heard the word of the Lord" (Acts 19:8-10)

There will always be detractors in life, but the Holy Spirit inspires us that no matter the opposition we may face in the pursuit of the purpose and plan we are called into by God, we must press on just like we see Paul did. Paul had faith and he added to it patience with persistence, even when he was dismissed from the synagogue at Ephesus about teaching the Way, which is Christ. He pressed on daily. This points to us that he stayed convinced, consistent and committed to what He knew and believed about His assignment.

Two years later, through the power of God's grace with him, Jews and Greeks throughout the province of Asia, heard the Word! What tasks or trades has the Lord committed and delegated to us? Let's not be discouraged but persist in it with Him. He supplies the grace. Hebrews 6:12 exhorts: "We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised." Don't give in and don't give up! Praise the Lord!
