I Will Says God

The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First, He says: “This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.” Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more” (Hebrews 10:15-17)
In these few verses alone, God said about us ‘I WILL’ four times. “I will make”, “I will put”, “I will write”, and “I will remember no more.” These statements are life-giving! They speak greatly about God’s loving desire to see us in His radiant light and life! Why was this so necessary? Hebrews 10:11 says: “Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.”
Exhausting! Day after day, again and again, same sacrifices yet the same outcomes. They were not good enough before the only good God, not right enough before the only righteous God (Romans 3:23). Now, here’s the good news! “But when this Priest (Jesus) had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, He sat down at the right hand of God, and since that time He waits for His enemies to be made His footstool. For by one sacrifice, He has made perfect forever those who are being made holy” (Hebrews 10:12-14). Hallelujah!
Now, we can sing joyfully: “In Christ alone my hope is found. He is my light, my strength, my song. This cornerstone, this solid ground. Firm through the fiercest drought and storm. What heights of love! what depths of peace! When fears are stilled, when strivings cease. My comforter, my all in all Here in the love of Christ I stand.”
