“The world is unprincipled. It’s dog-eat-dog out there! The world doesn’t fight fair. But we don’t live or fight our battles that way—never have and never will. The tools of our trade aren’t for marketing or manipulation, but they are for demolishing that entire massively corrupt culture. We use our powerful God-tools for smashing warped philosophies, tearing down barriers erected against the truth of God, fitting every loose thought and emotion and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)

Indeed, we are a special breed, a unique people because we belong to Christ and we depend on Him. The Holy Spirit did speak through Peter saying: “But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God’s instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you—from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted” (1 Peter 2:9-10). So, we don’t fight the way the world fights and we do not use God’s tools for manipulating others.

Paul told the Philippians: “There are many out there taking other paths, choosing other goals, and trying to get you to go along with them… All they want is easy street. They hate Christ’s Cross. But easy street is a dead-end street. Those who live there make their bellies their gods; belches are their praise; all they can think of is their appetites” (Philippians 3:17-19). Our sword is the Word, who is Christ. So, we can fight right as we allow our lives to be shaped by Christ and the message of His cross, which can never be defeated. BeEncouraged❤️ Freely Received.
